Dura Ace 10 Speed Crankset - FC-7800
Another technical import from the established MTB technology, the Dura-Ace Hollowtech II crank and bottom bracket combines race-proven hollow forging technology with the integrated crankset and bottom bracket.
The number of parts is reduced, weight is reduced and efficiency has been radically increased. A total weight reduction of 30 grams has been achieved. In addition, Hollowtech II allows the bottom bracket bearings to be spaced wider apart (outboard bearings) and the axle and bearings themselves to be larger. The net result of course is a more effective load distribution, increased rigidity and stability, as well as longer service life.
When combined with the RD-7800, FD-7800 and the new CN-7800 10-speed chain, Dura-Ace Hollowtech II enables an almost 100% transfer of power. Installation, adjustment and maintenance has never been easier.
Dura Ace 10 Speed Bottom Bracket
- New design to accomodate the all-new crank set. Cartridge bearings are seated outside the bottom bracket shell in sealed units
- Central sleeve for weather protection

Dura Ace 10 Speed STI Levers - ST-7800
Ergonomic innovation is probably more critical to the higher standard of Dura-Ace performance than the added gearing.
The narrower cradle-style perch welcomes the new high-on-the-hood racing style, and accommodates all sizes of hands and grip.
The new shift internals borrow from the robustness of Shimano's MTB technology are so smooth and effortless that allows one finger shifts for both front and rear.
Shifting on the new Dura-Ace is the ultimate act of Shimano Total Integration, and simply has to be experienced to be understood. |

Dura Ace Rear Derailleur - RD-7800
New wide link design is lighter, more rigid and durable. The increased rigidity stabilizes the chain as it glides up and down the sprockets. Less play means rear indexed shifting is not only quicker, more precise and reliable, but it also insures better indexing over many more road miles.
The reduced flex not only creates a more solid shifting system, it stays solid a lot longer.
Combined with the new SP41 silicon grease injected cable housing, RD-7800 adds key advantages: lighter weight and crisp, instantaneous shifts that are 10% more efficient from lever to derailleur. |

Dura Ace 10 Speed Front Derailleur - FD-7800
Radical improvement in front shifting is one of the most significant advances in the new Dura-Ace.
Improvements in shifting comes from new technologyas well as from the design of the new FD. The wide pivot link design boosts rigidity and strength.
Flex is suppressed, creating sharp, precise shifts that are faster and smoother.
Just strength, smoothness and speed.
Braze on only - Adaptor clamps available. |

Dura Ace Brake Calipers - Pair - BR-7800
For the first time, the new Dura-Ace employs a front and rear specific system that is more powerful and lighter than the original Dual Pivot design.
The compact construction of Dual-Pivot increases leverage and power, while reducing weight and size of caliper arms. An overall front/rear weight reduction has been achieved, while boosting rigidity in the front caliper by 25%.
Increased rigidity, tighter tolerances and the striking reduction in flex are a big part of the BR-7800, but the new multi-condition brake pad compound has also made race-winning advancements.
In development for over a year, the new pads are more powerful and durable in dry conditions, with outstanding durability in the wet as well. The powerful braking and endurance in the wet, with no compromise to the power and durability you need in the dry, has been recognized as a significant racing advantage. |

Dura Ace 10 Speed Chain - CN-7800
The new 10-speed Dura-Ace chain is lighter by an astonishing 24g, yet maintains the same durability as the 9-speed predecessor. The chain also adds a new fluid-smooth feel to the performance of the overall system. The rollers are the same width as 9-speed, insuring the important strength and durability.
Weight reduction and the narrower 10-speed profile were achieved by minimizing the contour of the side plates. The super-flush surface of the new plates glides more smoothly across the entire cogset, netting a lighter, smoother, and a remarkably more durable drive train.

Dura Ace 10 Speed Cassette - CS-7800
A superior surface treatment has been applied to the titanium sprockets that has increase durability by approximately 30%.
The sprocket width has been slightly reduced, to achieve chain compatibility and only increases the overall weight of the cassette sprocket by 17 grams more compared to the 9-speed CS-7700 sprocket.
The CS-7800 Sprocket is compatible with the 9-speed freehub because it is designed to have nearly the same width. |
