The Furious (RM9,700.00) and Supreme 6.2 (RM7,000.00) are among the 2008 range of Commencal bikes that arrived at out shop recently. The Furious, built with input from world champ Cedric Gracia, is a new slopestyle rig that's been described as "supremely balanced and strong enough to take everything the world's best can throw at it". 2008 Fox forks have arrived at BPC!



For 2008, Fox forks have been given an improved ride feel across the range. They not only feature a newly designed valve system to enhance trail performance without rider-induced feedback, but also offer more stability at high speeds, better bump absorption and a more solid chassis to withstand huge hits and braking forces. The 36mm forks get a new lower chassis and 20mm quick release axle with a lighter, stiffer crown. They're now almost a quarter of a pound lighter than last year's. Scott's fabulous Spark available now!



According to BIKEmagic, Scott have "been refining and developing [their] carbon fibre manufacturing processes for a long time, and the Spark is built using a new technology called the Integrated Moulding Process" that "results in a very light frame", with a claimed weight of 1.8kg with the rear shock. Also, "the Spark features what Scott [call] HMX fibres in high-stress areas alongside the same HMF material found in the Scale and other Scott carbon bikes". Even the dropouts and cable stops are made from carbon fibre. Only five units of the performance-level Spark 30 are available for now!
